Adding telemetry for another participant (admins)
Series owners and admins can add a GPS file they were given for another racer. It stays pending until that racer approves.
- Open the session's Race Replay and tap Manage replay data (series owner/admin, or the organiser of a standalone event).
- Find the driver in the list and tap Add telemetry.
- Upload their RaceChrono, RaceBox, VBOX or GPS CSV/GPX file.
- Check the match confidence — LOW can't be added; MEDIUM needs you to confirm you've reviewed the reasons.
- Tap Prepare telemetry. It's saved as GPS PENDING — not published.
- Use Test GPS in admin preview, and switch EST / GPS / Show both to compare.
- Enter the racer's username and tap Request approval.
What the racer sees
A Race Replay telemetry request on their dashboard and on the replay, with Approve for Race Replay, Approve for public Race Replay, or Decline. They can later remove their GPS.
Statuses
- EST — timing-estimated.
- GPS PENDING — waiting for the racer; everyone else still sees EST.
- GPS PRIVATE — approved for the replay, EST on the public link.
- GPS PUBLIC — approved for the public link too.
- DECLINED — stays EST. Admins can't override this.
Good to know Admins can't approve on a racer's behalf. Racers without a Racer IQ account stay pending (EST) for now.
