Racer IQ

Terms of Use

Version 1.1 · Effective 7 October 2026

1. ABOUT THESE TERMS

These Terms govern your use of Racer IQ.

By creating or using a Racer IQ account, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create or continue using a Racer IQ account.

2. AGE

You must be at least 16 years old to create an independent Racer IQ account.

Junior competitors may appear in legitimate motorsport results without having a Racer IQ account.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT

You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

Do not share access in a way that allows another person to impersonate you or misuse Racer IQ.

You must provide information that is reasonably accurate where accuracy is important to the operation of the service.

4. RACER IQ IS A MOTORSPORT INFORMATION PLATFORM

Racer IQ provides tools for recording, organising, analysing and sharing motorsport information.

Racer IQ is not a substitute for:

  • professional mechanical inspection;
  • motorsport instruction;
  • engineering advice;
  • medical advice;
  • scrutineering; or
  • the rules and directions of an event organiser, circuit, sanctioning body or governing organisation.

Motorsport involves inherent risk.

You remain responsible for your vehicle, driving or riding decisions, safety equipment, preparation and compliance with applicable regulations.

5. RACE ENGINEER AND AI

Racer IQ may provide AI-generated analysis, suggestions and answers.

AI can make mistakes.

Do not rely on an AI response as the sole basis for a safety-critical, mechanical, regulatory or driving decision.

Always verify relevant information and use appropriate professional judgement.

6. MEMBERSHIP PLANS AND PAYMENTS

PLANS

Racer IQ offers a free plan, Racer Free, and optional paid plans, Racer Plus and Racer Pro. The features and limits of each plan are shown on the Membership page.

Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or annually.

PRICES

Prices for paid plans are shown in Australian dollars (AUD). Current prices are:

  • Racer Plus: A$9.99 per month or A$99 per year
  • Racer Pro: A$24.99 per month or A$199 per year

The price shown when you subscribe is the price charged for each billing period, unless the price is changed in accordance with these Terms.

Racer IQ is not currently registered for Australian GST and does not charge GST on memberships. If Racer IQ becomes legally required to collect GST or another tax, that tax may be applied to future charges in accordance with the law.

AUTOMATIC RENEWAL

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and the applicable price is charged to your payment method, until you cancel.

CHANGING PLANS

You can change your plan or billing period through Manage billing.

Upgrades from Racer Plus to Racer Pro take effect immediately. Changes from monthly to annual billing within the same plan also take effect immediately. Where an immediate change affects the amount already paid for the current billing period, Stripe calculates any applicable credit and amount payable, and the amount due is shown before you confirm the change.

Downgrades from Racer Pro to Racer Plus take effect at your next renewal, including where you also change from monthly to annual billing. Changes from annual to monthly billing within the same plan also take effect at your next renewal. You keep your existing plan until the change takes effect and are not charged for the scheduled change at the time you request it.

Manage billing shows the new plan, when the change takes effect and any amount payable before you confirm.

CANCELLATION

You can cancel a paid plan at any time through Manage billing.

Cancellation stops future renewals. Your paid plan continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, your access is determined by any other valid access you hold, such as an access code or complimentary access, or otherwise returns to Racer Free.

Cancelling or downgrading does not delete your Racer IQ content. If you have more than your new plan allows, you keep your existing content, but you may not be able to add more until you are within the limit or change plan again.

FAILED PAYMENTS

If a renewal payment is unsuccessful, your paid plan continues for a grace period of 7 days while payment is retried or you update your payment details.

If payment succeeds during the grace period, your paid plan continues normally.

If payment is still unsuccessful after the grace period, your paid access ends and your access is determined by any other valid access you hold, or otherwise returns to Racer Free. Racer IQ and its payment processor may continue to take reasonable steps to collect the outstanding payment or may cancel the subscription. If a later payment succeeds, your paid plan resumes.

REFUNDS

Racer IQ does not generally provide refunds or credits for part of a billing period, including when you cancel part-way through a period.

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact
support@raceriq.com.au.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law, including any right to a refund or other remedy where a consumer guarantee is not met.

PRICE AND PLAN CHANGES

Racer IQ may change paid membership prices, and may change features, limits or the way Racer IQ works, as the service develops.

If Racer IQ increases the price of your paid plan, Racer IQ will give you at least 30 days' notice before the new price applies. The new price will not apply until your first renewal after that notice period ends. A price change does not affect a billing period you have already paid for. You may cancel before the new price applies.

If Racer IQ makes a change that materially reduces the features or limits of the paid plan you purchased, to your detriment, Racer IQ will give you at least 30 days' notice where reasonably practicable, and you may cancel before the change applies to you. If such a change takes effect during a billing period you have already paid for and you cancel because of it, Racer IQ will refund the unused part of that billing period on a pro rata basis.

Minor changes that do not materially reduce your paid plan, such as design, layout or wording changes or improvements, do not require notice. Where a change is required urgently for security, legal or third-party service reasons, Racer IQ may give shorter notice and will tell you as soon as reasonably practicable.

Existing content is not deleted because of a change to plan features or limits.

Any additional notice or rights required by applicable law continue to apply.

PAYMENT PROCESSING

Payments are processed by Stripe through payment services provided to Racer IQ by Lovable. Card and payment details are entered directly with Stripe. Racer IQ does not receive or store your full card number or card security code (CVC).

Stripe's own terms and privacy policy also apply to the processing of your payment.

OTHER ACCESS

Racer IQ may also provide plan access through trials, access codes, promotions, complimentary access or administrative grants. That access applies for the period and on the conditions stated when it is given. It is not a paid subscription and does not renew or charge you automatically.

Where more than one valid type of access applies at the same time, the higher plan applies.

7. MOTORSPORT REGULATIONS

Racer IQ may help users organise, search or understand motorsport rules and regulations.

The official regulations issued by the relevant organiser, circuit, sanctioning body or governing organisation remain authoritative.

If Racer IQ information conflicts with official regulations, use the official regulations.

8. YOUR CONTENT

You retain ownership of content you submit to Racer IQ, subject to any rights that already belong to someone else.

You give Racer IQ permission to host, process, display and use your content to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the features you choose to use.

If you deliberately publish content, you also permit Racer IQ to display that content to the audience selected by the applicable feature.

You must have the right to upload or publish content you submit.

9. PHOTOS, VIDEOS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Do not upload or publish content that unlawfully infringes another person's copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights.

When you link a YouTube video, the video remains hosted by YouTube.

You are responsible for ensuring you are entitled to use and associate that video with Racer IQ.

10. PUBLIC PROFILES

Public driver/rider and vehicle profiles are optional Racer IQ features.

You control the information made public through the available publishing controls.

Public information may be viewed and shared by other people.

11. RACE RESULTS

Legitimate race timing and results may form part of shared motorsport history.

An organiser may publish legitimate competitor names, race numbers, vehicles, classes, lap times and results even where a competitor does not hold a Racer IQ account.

A result appearing in Racer IQ does not mean that competitor has joined or endorsed Racer IQ.

12. RACE REPLAY

Race Replay may combine organiser-provided or other legitimate timing information with participant-contributed information.

Timing-only movement may be estimated and is not intended to represent exact vehicle position between timing points.

Where GPS is available, accuracy may still be affected by the recording device, signal quality, timing alignment and other factors.

Race Replay should not be treated as an official adjudication tool unless expressly stated otherwise.

13. RACE SERIES, TEAMS AND EVENTS

Users may create or manage community Race Series, Teams and Events.

If you administer one, you are responsible for having appropriate authority to publish the information you add and for managing it responsibly.

Creating a Racer IQ Race Series does not make Racer IQ the organiser or governing body of that real-world competition.

14. MARKETPLACE

Racer IQ Marketplace connects users interested in motorsport vehicles and related listings.

Unless Racer IQ expressly states otherwise, Racer IQ:

  • is not the seller or buyer;
  • does not own the listed vehicle;
  • does not inspect or certify it;
  • does not guarantee the accuracy of a listing;
  • does not handle payment or escrow; and
  • is not a party to the transaction between buyer and seller.

Buyers should perform their own checks and inspections.

Sellers are responsible for describing listings accurately and complying with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under Australian law.

15. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You must not use Racer IQ to:

  • impersonate another person;
  • harass, threaten or abuse others;
  • publish unlawful or seriously inappropriate content;
  • deliberately publish false or fraudulent Marketplace listings;
  • access another person's private information without authorisation;
  • interfere with Racer IQ's security;
  • bypass access restrictions;
  • introduce malicious software;
  • misuse reporting or moderation systems; or
  • use Racer IQ for unlawful purposes.

16. REPORTING AND MODERATION

Users can report certain public content.

Racer IQ may investigate reports and may hide or unpublish content, restrict functionality, suspend accounts or take other proportionate action.

Racer IQ may restore content or accounts where appropriate.

A moderation decision does not necessarily mean Racer IQ has determined that a person has broken the law.

17. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

Racer IQ may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform or its integrity, or to address serious or repeated breaches of these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

Suspended accounts may be prevented from creating, changing or deleting information.

You may delete your account through the available account controls, subject to resolving ownership of shared community resources where necessary.

If Racer IQ suspends your account, Racer IQ will stop your paid plan from renewing automatically while the suspension continues. A suspension does not by itself entitle you to a refund for a billing period you have already paid for.

If your account is reinstated before your current billing period ends, Racer IQ will restore automatic renewal unless you had already cancelled. If your billing period ends while your account is suspended, your paid plan ends, and after reinstatement you can choose a paid plan again.

If Racer IQ terminates your account, your paid plan will not renew.

While your account is suspended you may not be able to use Manage billing. Contact support@raceriq.com.au about billing during a suspension.

Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies any refund or other remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

18. ACCOUNT DELETION AND SHARED HISTORY

Deleting your account removes your active Racer IQ membership and associated private information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

If you have an active paid plan, Racer IQ will warn you before deletion, and deleting your account cancels the paid subscription immediately so that you are not charged again. Paid access for the rest of the current billing period ends when the account is deleted. Refunds for that remaining period are dealt with in accordance with the Refunds section of these Terms.

Deletion does not necessarily erase legitimate shared motorsport history.

Official timing, results or public Race Replay information may remain without an active link to your former Racer IQ account.

19. EXTERNAL SERVICES

Racer IQ may integrate with or link to external services, including YouTube and websites operated by circuits, Race Series or other organisations.

Those services have their own terms and privacy practices.

Racer IQ is not responsible for the availability or content of an external service merely because it is linked from Racer IQ.

20. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES

Racer IQ is an evolving service.

Features may be changed, improved, replaced or discontinued.

Racer IQ does not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Where practical, Racer IQ will seek to avoid changes that unnecessarily damage users' existing racing records.

21. LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Racer IQ is not responsible for loss caused by reliance on inaccurate user-generated information, estimated Race Replay information, AI-generated information or information from third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under Australian law.

22. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Racer IQ may update these Terms as the service develops.

If a material change requires renewed acceptance, Racer IQ may ask you to review and accept the new version before continuing to use account features.

Racer IQ may record the Terms version and acceptance date.
