Recording setups in Setup Lab
Keep a record of each setup, what you changed, how the car felt — and compare two setups side by side.
Record a setup
- Open Setup Lab and tap New setup.
- Give it a Setup name and choose the Car.
- Optionally link a Session from your Race Log (or leave it Not linked), and set the Track and Date.
- Fill in What did you change? and any setup values you recorded — each value can be left as Not recorded.
- Under Driver feedback, rate Corner entry, Mid corner, Corner exit, Braking and Traction, plus Overall confidence.
- Answer Did this change improve the car? and tap Save setup.
Find, edit and reuse
- Every saved setup is listed in Setup Lab.
- Edit opens it again; Delete is inside the editor.
- Duplicate starts a new setup from an old one (the session link and change notes are cleared).
Compare two setups
In Setup A vs Setup B, pick Setup A (before) and Setup B (after). Racer IQ lists the values that changed and how the car felt in each. It doesn't decide whether a change was good — you do.
Tip Setups are private. They're only shared if you pick them on a team page, which shares a copy.
