Importing race timing
Upload a timing sheet to a session to create a Quick Replay and results — no GPS needed.
What file to use
- A CSV or Excel spreadsheet of lap times, or a table copied and pasted from a timing results page.
- Lap-chart layouts (one column per car, one row per lap) — including handicap starts and IN PIT markers.
- Best data: driver, race number, every lap time, lap count and finishing results.
- Open the event and the session.
- Tap Import race timing data (series owners, admins, editors and event organisers).
- Upload or paste the timing.
- Check the preview: drivers, lap counts and how pit markers and the start were read.
- Confirm to save. A Quick Replay is created for that session.
Good to know Racer IQ doesn't connect directly to live timing systems. Download or copy the results yourself and import them.
