Claiming a sponsor profile
Businesses can claim their Racer IQ sponsor profile to manage it and confirm which sponsorships are genuine.
Claimed means Racer IQ has approved a representative to manage the Sponsor profile. It does not mean Racer IQ endorses or certifies the business.
Who should claim
Someone authorised to represent the business — an owner, manager or marketing contact. You need a Racer IQ account.
How to claim
- Open the sponsor's page and tap Claim this business.
- Enter your name, role, business email and website. An ABN and an explanation are optional but help.
- Confirm you're authorised and submit. A Racer IQ admin reviews it — nothing changes until it's approved.
- Check the result in My sponsors. If more information is needed, the note appears there. Racer IQ doesn't email you about claims yet.
After approval
- You become the Sponsor owner and can edit the logo, description, website and social links. The person who first created the profile can no longer edit it.
- Existing sponsorships aren't confirmed automatically. In your Sponsor dashboard, choose Confirm relationship or This isn't correct for each one. You can't change how racers, teams or series describe you.
- Invite colleagues as Sponsor managers by their Racer IQ username. Managers can edit the profile and respond to sponsorships; only the owner manages managers.
- Business email and ABN are private. Add a public contact email only if you want it shown.
Good to know If a sponsor profile is wrong or someone has claimed a business they don't represent, use Report on the sponsor page.
